Lunia collects your phone number (or Apple/Google account information), and your child's name, age, gender, interests, dreams, and development goals to create your account and generate personalized stories. This information is used solely to improve the app experience.
Collected data is used for AI-powered story generation, audio narration, and cover image creation. Your data is never shared with third parties for marketing purposes, nor is it used for model training.
For story generation, your child's name, age, gender, dreams, interests, and development goal details are transmitted to the following AI services through Firebase Cloud Functions in encrypted form. API keys are not stored on your device; all communication is server-side.
• Anthropic Claude (Sonnet 4.6 / Haiku 4.5) - story text generation. Anthropic does not use API data for model training by default; may retain for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring.
• Google Cloud Text-to-Speech (Gemini-TTS) - converting story text to audio narration. Google Cloud processes data for service delivery, does not use customer data for advertising or model training.
• Google Gemini Image (2.5 Flash Image) - story cover image generation. Generated images are stored in Firebase Storage.
• OpenAI - content safety (Moderations API) and input validation (GPT-4.1-mini). OpenAI may retain logs for up to 30 days on standard tier for safety purposes; deleted after this period. Not used for model training.

Premium subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store. Apple communicates only your subscription status (active/expired), renewal dates, and transaction identifiers to us. Credit card or payment information stays with Apple and is not transmitted to us.
All your data is stored encrypted on Firebase infrastructure. Database security rules ensure access only to your own data.
Your child's information is collected and processed solely to create personalized stories, with parental consent. This information is not shared for marketing or third-party advertising. It is transmitted to AI services only for story generation, on a per-request basis.
If you find a generated story inappropriate, you can report it to us using the "Report" button while playing the story. Reports are reviewed by our team within 48 hours, and content filters are updated as needed.
You can delete your account at any time from within the app via Settings → Account → Delete Account. Account deletion permanently removes all your personal data, stories, cover images, audio files, and child profiles.
